20th Anniversary of 9/11
Day of Service & Remembrance
Honoring the 20th anniversary of this moment in our nation’s history by serving in your community helps transform 9/11 into a day of unity, empathy, and service as an enduring and positive tribute to those lost and injured on 9/11/01, and the many who rose in service in response to the attacks, including first responders, recovery workers, volunteers and members of our military. Scroll down to see how you can take action locally.
Take Action Locally: Serve & Remember
MAKE A DIFFERENCE, TOGETHER! Honor. Serve. Unite.
On September 11, 2021, we will mark the 20th anniversary of September 11th. Day of Remembrance is a chance to help others pay tribute to those killed and injured on September 11, 2001, first responders, and the countless others who serve to defend the nation’s freedom at home and around the globe. This year, the needs are greater than ever before. And though volunteering may look different, there are still so many ways to give back. Take time out as an individual, family, team, community/service group this season to help others and make a positive mark on the world. There are a variety of virtual volunteer opportunities you can choose from. Choose just one or multiple activities and all contributions are greatly appreciated. Remember videos/patterns are only suggestions, we want you to be creative and use the best techniques that suit your time and talent.
