Youth Volunteer -- Kitchen & Garden
Ceres Community Project provides healing meals lovingly prepared by local teens and volunteer adult kitchen mentors for people with serious illnesses, including cancer. We create health for people, communities and the planet through love, healing food and empowering the next generation. Ceres has three program sites serving Marin and Sonoma counties.
Learn to prepare and cook delicious, healthy meals with a team of your peers under the guidance of a Professional Chef year round at our kitchens in Novato and Sebastopol. We ask that our teen volunteers sign up for a weekly shift for a minimum of three months. We have youth volunteering shift opportunities Monday through Thursday from 3pm - 6:30pm, and in our Petaluma Garden on Wednesdays from 3pm - 6:30pm.
