Volunteer for our San Pedro Ridge Family Volunteer Day Wildfire Prevention Event
This Family Volunteer Day, join CVNL, San Pedro Ridge Fire Safety, and California Climate Action Corps and volunteer to help make San Pedro Ridge safe from wildfire!
Date and times:
Saturday, November 19th
Shift 1: 9am - 11am | Shift 2: 11am - 1pm
Volunteers can sign up for 1 shift or both shifts.
Where:
Sprig Field, Osher Marin Jewish Community Center
200 N San Pedro Rd, San Rafael, CA 94903
We will be working on the ridge behind the JCC.
Volunteer Duties and Requirements:
- Volunteer with your family and friends to remove flammable French and Scotch broom on San Pedro Ridge.
- Please wear long sleeves, long pants, close-toed shoes, a hat, and sun glasses. There may be poison oak in the area where we are working.
- We will provide gloves and tools but please bring your own if you have them.
- We will have some snacks and water but feel free to bring your own drinks and food as well!
- Volunteers must be age 10 or older.

Volunteers age 14 - 17 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver but can participate without a parent/guardian present.
Volunteers under 14 must have parent/guardian present at the event.
