9/11 Weekend of Service & Remembrance Wildfire Prevention and Green Waste Event
September 11, 2022 will mark the 21st anniversary of September 11th. This 9/11 Weekend of Service & Remembrance is a chance to pay tribute to those injured and killed on September 11, 2001, the first responders, and countless others who serve to defend the nation’s freedom at home and around the globe.
This Weekend of Service & Remembrance, help protect your community from wildfire by volunteering at our green waste and fuel reduction event!
When: Saturday, September 10th from 8am - 1pm
Where: 1634 Rockville Road, Fairfield, CA 94534

Become a Wildfire Prevention Volunteer
Help remove flammable vegetation in your community.
Become a Green Waste Registration Volunteer
Ensure that people dropping off green waste are registered to drop off waste in the bins.
Become a Green Waste Traffic Coordinator Volunteer
Ensure that vehicles are stopping at the correct place to drop off waste at the bins.
Become a Green Waste Bin Manager Volunteer
Help people drop off green waste in the bins.
