9/11 Weekend of Service Green Waste Event: Registration Volunteers Needed
Become a Green Waste registration volunteer for the Green Valley Fire Safe Council on this 9/11 Weekend of Service & Remembrance!
What: Ensure that people dropping off green waste in the bins (ladder fuels, dry and dense vegetation) are registered.
When: Saturday, September 10th from 8am to 1pm
Where: 1634 Rockville Road, Fairfield, CA 94534 by the Cordelia Fire Station
Registration Volunteer Requirements:
- Check that people dropping off green waste have proof of registration
- Hand out registration forms for those who did not register (provided space is available)
- Disseminate Wildfire Preparedness Materials
- Collect names for future volunteers for the Green Valley Fire Safe Council
- Collect donations
